Description

These are the switch in which the detection by the human sense of touch is applied to the level switch, enhancing its reliabilities by taking advantage of the features that only the human sense of touch possesses.
Vibrating level switch is the one that can well respond to the demand in the market for instrumentation of high reliabilities ever getting higher, by taking full advantage of the latest development in electronic technologies.

The level switch, Model DTA and STA, based on fine vibration formula has 3 kinds in types (one rod type, twin rod type and flat type) depending upon the object to be measured, which please choose for use according to the scope for detection.

In addition, DITECH manufactures about fifty types of detector to cope with diverse conditions of use as well as a wide variety of vibrator shapes including flat plate, round rod, flat, etc. Users can freely select the type and shape of equipment that best suits the characteristics of the substances to be measured and the processing conditions.

Operating
principles

Under this system, the tip of the detecting element, which consists of a single metal rod, is delicately vibrated. The detecting element's vibration control characteristics vary according to the substance being measured and the resulting signal forms the basis of an accurate level measurement. By adjusting the strength and frequency of the vibration, the system can be employed for measurement of a wide variety of substances.
Two operating methods-employing electro distortion and magnet bias are available.

High mechanical strength achieved by constructing all liquid-contact parts of metal, thereby allowing dimensional flexibility while retaining the strength and durability to repeatedly bear high loads.     3. High sensitivity ensured by a variety of specialized models tor different detection conditions from substances exhibiting low apparent specific gravity to high viscosity solutions.

    4. Sediment and interface measurement capabilities allow the detection of sedimentary deposits as well as enabling measurement at the interface of two solutions.

    5. Vibrating level switches with a straight-rod probe can be installed through a 25A nozzle.

    7. Our mechanical level switches (Model DTA and STA) with characteristic vibration (self-excited vibration) can prevent from forming the rat hole while general mechanical level switches have disadvantage of easily generating the rat hole.

This model is composed of both detector unit with self-contained transducer and relay power source (Model PS-7). The transducer contained in the detector head requires no special cable. For this reason, the dangerous area may be kept away unlimitedly from the safe area. As to performance, this model has the same characteristics as those of Model DTA.
