If the substance to be measured is a powder (or in the form of flakes) and tends to form lumps, it might build up and solidify on the probe due to consolidation loads.
This capacitance type blower-equipped level transmitter blows out a small amount of air (nitrogen) through a port at the tip or side of the probe to keep the powder from solidifying while detecting the level of the powder. Blower-equipped level switch is also available.

This model is composed of blower-equipped detector unit, transducer, relay power source and special cable that is 4 core control cable. As the transducer is designed to be installed in a dangerous area, the special cable can be made short enough to minimize picked-up noises, thus permitting a stable performance to be obtainable. As to performance, this model has the same characteristics as those of Model QBS-BL.
