Description

In manufacturing processes using oil, such as quenching oil, it is recommended to implement safety measures to constantly measure the moisture content of the oil, because moisture in such oil might not only degrade product quality, but also cause the moisture to reach boiling point, resulting in an explosive accident or fire.

Operating
principles

Moisture in an insulating liquid noticeably reduces the liquid’s breakdown voltage. The moisture detector for quenching oil draws on this property to detect moisture in quenching oil.
