This device, a precision variable capacitor, is low-loss, low-inductance and highly stable. It is designed for capacitance measurement based on the substitution or resonance method.
It is suitable as a dummy capacitance generator used to adjust capacitive level transmitters, capacitive transmitters and capacitive level switches.
Settings are made with one dial. The SVC-500 has two graduated scales (main and vernier) for intuitive operation.
