This level transmitters are designed to use under severe conditions (high temperature, high pressure, and high load) like measuring molten resin in polymerization vessel or agitation vessel.


The capacitive level transmitter for large tanks has been developed to measure the level in a large tank. Conventional immersion level transmitters might be unable to measure under severe conditions (high temperature, high pressure and high load) like molten resin in polymerization vessel or agitation vessel. This level transmitter can be effectively used in such applications. Each unit is designed for the fluid condition of each target tank for safe level measurement.

Large sensor type with length of 10m, probe-joint type, housing-joint type and light body type are also available, depending on measurement conditions.


Every material has intrinsic electrical characteristics such as permittivity and conductivity. Housings are installed on the tank to anchor the detector. The probe detects capacitance that changes with increases or decreases of the object being measured and converts the detected capacitance into a standardized signal.
Various types of detector can be offered for each measurement condition.


With conventional electrostatic type level transmitter, capacitance loss and capacitance distribution loss are intrinsic problems. Our models eliminates both of these problems by means of a non-induction structure. The meter internal wiring, the detector and the extension cable are constructed with an inherent capacitance of zero, so there is no need to compensate for capacitance loss or distribution loss. Moreover, because it contains no unstable elements, this device exhibits no significant changes with time or variation in temperature coefficient, thereby ensuring consistently high measurement accuracy. Operation is simple, requiring only ZERO and SPAN adjustment.

And the models also feature a built-in distribution capacitance and conductance compensation circuit to allow use with a diversity of both new and already installed detectors of various compositions.

This model is composed of large size detector unit, transducer, relay power source and special cable that is 4 core control cable. As the transducer is designed to be installed in a dangerous area, the special cable can be made short enough to minimize picked-up noises, thus permitting a stable performance to be obtainable. As to performance, this model has the same characteristics as those of Model QBS-LL.
