The minimal-leakage meter for piping is designed to detect, in a manufacturing process, liquid leaks from valves on process piping.
DITECH’s proprietary impedance bridge measurement system enables the detector to detect conventionally difficult trace amounts of leakage corresponding to 0.001 pF (1/1000). Consequently, the minimal-leakage meter is suitable for locations such as an important valve connector downstream on a pipeline that must not leak.
The measurement circuitry is an impedance bridge circuit, one side of which is connected to a transducer to output a standardized signal of conductivity.

This model is composed of in-pipeline detector unit, transducer, relay power source and special cable that is 4 core control cable. As the transducer is designed to be installed in a dangerous area, the special cable can be made short enough to minimize picked-up noises, thus permitting a stable performance to be obtainable. As to performance, this model has the same characteristics as those of Model QBS-LE.
