This device is designed to detect, in a manufacturing process, powder falling in a tank. The impact type falling-powder detector can be used to protrude in the tank since its sensor is designed to have a small sized. It can be used in a broad range of applications with its setting capability ranging from minimal to large amounts.
This detector is designed to convert the impact energy of falling objects to sensor into electric signal.
The probe at the tip of the detector outputs a signal when electric signal in piezoelectric elements exceeds certain value. The center of sensor has the highest sensitivity and it decreases with spreading in the circumferential direction.
