Description

The relative permittivity-correcting level transmitter has been developed to determine an accurate level for fluid level measurement applications in which the relative permittivity tends to be unstable due to changes in components or mixture ratios.

principles

During the measurement of the level of a fluid of unstable relative permittivity during the process of concentrating a two-component mixture fluid or a single-component fluid, a continuous change occurs in the relative permittivity at each stage of the process. To obtain a net level signal, a corrective calculation is performed on the signal of the level transmitter using a relative permittivity signal. For this purpose, a short detector (compensating probe) of a relative permittivity transmitter is installed at a location deeper than the detector of the level transmitter.
